Heyo all! 🤗 It’s time for another monthly update on the adventures of going full-time indie with Robots Go Boom!, and it has been a super productive month!
First I want to give a big shout out to all the folks who took the time to give feedback (and record playthroughs!) for Project Duelz – This has been incredibly helpful with planning what is next for that project (lots to do!).
As I was collecting feedback and watching playtest videos – another really awesome opportunity popped up which is where I’ve spent most of my dev time in the past month! I’d consider this more of a “bigger” project with a longer dev time (not too long though!) – but it’s been simmering on the backburner for awhile now, and I wanted to port the idea over to Godot to get it up and running again (nice to be free from UE5).
I just put together a very rough Teaser vid for Project H.U.S.K – Not showing too much just yet, but as things keep building, it’s a nice way to do some quick ideation on what elements to highlight for a pitch video down the road.
That’s about it for this progress update! Just wanted to say once again, thanks to everyone who took the time to provide awesome feedback and fun chats – and I look forward to sharing more as time goes on!
Take care!
– Jay
